Clutter/Youtube fun

Recently, I’ve found some time to delve into Clutter. Most of the time has been spent just getting familiar (via updating clutter toys, hacking on libtidy and bits) and I just committed my first real demo. It’s available under the usual toys directory (called ‘youhaa’) – A screencast: For anyone that was interested in Clutter before, but (despite its relative simplicity) was turned off by the difficulty of creating applications, you should *definitely* take a look at 0.6. With the new events and effects APIs/features, things have gotten even easier and, for me, it definitely marks the point at which Clutter has become a real alternative to GTK, SDL, OpenGL et al. for creating quick, one-off demos. Also, Youtube’s web API sucks.
