Outside of software engineering, I am also a musician, specialising in bluegrass banjo. Bluegrass music is a passion of mine, and as well as teaching, I organise regular open sessions in London and play in a regularly gigging bluegrass band. If you’re looking to learn the basics of playing bluegrass and how to join in at bluegrass jam sessions, or if you’re already at a more advanced level and are looking to tighten up your playing, I may be the person you’re looking for.
I teach 3-finger style banjo from absolute beginner to advanced level in the South London area. I also offer beginner-level guitar and double bass tuition. My rates are £20/half hour, £30/hour, plus travel expenses if you would like me to travel to you. BBMA members are eligible for a 5% discount on bluegrass-focused lessons.
